Angela Fawcett is a leading international researcher into dyslexia. Following experience of dyslexia in her family, Angela became a mature student at the University of Sheffield to try to find the cause. Her research into dyslexia with Professor Rod Nicolson has influenced both theory and practice, and produced three major theories of dyslexia, as well as providing screening tests for dyslexia, for every age from pre-school to adults.

Angela is a prolific writer and speaks at many international conferences on dyslexia. She has recently returned from the World Education summit in Delhi, where the Indian version of the Dyslexia Screening Test-Junior was launched. Angela is a vice president of the British Dyslexia Association.
